What could your team understand, create, and decide that it could not before? How readily could it respond when the tools, requirements, and possibilities change?

Public seminar
Put more perspectives in the room
Sending several colleagues to public AI4DEV can bring more of the conversation back to your organization. A developer, an architect, a product colleague, and a manager may each recognize a different possibility, ask a different question, or notice a consequence the others would miss.
Who would you want in the conversation when those perspectives meet?
John Schur of Telos Alliance described the breadth of interest in their custom seminar:
Interest was broader than expected. Attendees included software & hardware developers, project leaders, product managers, our CTO, EVP Sales/Marketing, vice chairman, & others. We expected 20 attendees and ended up with 47, including managers & executives wanting to safely grow AI use.

Exclusive company-private version
Bring the conversation into your company
An exclusive private AI4DEV can bring a whole team, or people from several teams, into a conversation centered on your company. Your builders, managers, product leaders, hardware colleagues, and executives can bring their different questions into the same room.
Choose a private version of the standard seminar, or explore a fully custom version shaped around your company's priorities, expectations, and constraints. What would you want Howard to understand about your people and your work before that conversation begins?
His account began with the preparation for that custom engagement:
Before the seminar, Howard met with our CTO and VP of Engineering to understand priorities, expectations, constraints, strengths, and weaknesses. Howard and I also had multiple 1:1 sessions in which he developed the framework & reviewed the content with me.
Different roles and different levels of confidence can contribute to the discussion:
His seminar took into account the diverse goals and experience of developers, managers & executives. His delivery was well-executed, professional, and responsive. The audience included AI skeptics, and through discussion, Howard addressed those concerns and described a careful path forward Telos engineers could follow.
His assessment of its value was direct:
I felt that Telos received multiple times the value of our investment.
What could a conversation across your teams make possible? Which questions would become more useful if the people responsible for different parts of the work could explore them together?

The full recommendation
John Schur, Telos Alliance · Client recommendation, April 30, 2026
I got to know Howard Pearlmutter when he created and delivered a custom seminar for Telos Alliance on AI for product development. As President of the Media Solutions Division, I felt that our developers were not yet making significant use of AI & needed a practical introduction to its benefits and pitfalls.
Interest was broader than expected. Attendees included software & hardware developers, project leaders, product managers, our CTO, EVP Sales/Marketing, vice chairman, & others. We expected 20 attendees and ended up with 47, including managers & executives wanting to safely grow AI use.
Before the seminar, Howard met with our CTO and VP of Engineering to understand priorities, expectations, constraints, strengths, and weaknesses. Howard and I also had multiple 1:1 sessions in which he developed the framework & reviewed the content with me.
Howard has a very effective process for understanding customer requirements & applying them creatively. His seminar took into account the diverse goals and experience of developers, managers & executives. His delivery was well-executed, professional, and responsive. The audience included AI skeptics, and through discussion, Howard addressed those concerns and described a careful path forward Telos engineers could follow.
Howard brings value in thought partnership and thought leadership across software development, AI risks and pitfalls, product lifecycle, methodologies, process, and domain expertise from multi-core silicon through middleware to user interface and human experience.
During our engagement, Howard applied his deep background in digital media, AI, high-performance computing, enterprise software architecture, Java+native integration, computer graphics, and dynamic simulation to prototyping two key emerging standards: Dynamic Media Facility (DMF) & Media eXchange Layer (MXL), foundational initiatives for flexible, scalable media production, distribution, broadcast, and streaming.
Howard developed a deep understanding of the technical goals behind DMF and MXL, then produced working code, prototypes, and demonstrations spanning Apple Silicon multi-core CPU/GPU execution, Macintosh MPSGraph, Java FFM native integration, Netty, Vert.x, Quarkus, and JakartaEE CDI. He went further by creating a Dynamic Media Facility simulation, displaying statistics from the facility level down to media grains and flows before the DMF standard had been fully specified.
In multiple demonstrations, his mastery of AI tooling for software development was very evident, not just for explaining concepts, but for applying AI-assisted engineering to low-level implementation, multiple programming languages, native/platform integration, scalable middleware, and domain-specific media workflows.
I felt that Telos received multiple times the value of our investment. I highly recommend him for seminars, briefings, trainings, workshops, consulting, software development, product strategy, and AI-augmented engineering initiatives.
